Depending on the power density of a given device, you may notice a mild heat radiating from your LED device. This is often the case with larger panels and full-body devices such as the LumaLux. As LumaLux combines both red and infrared light therapy you will feel a mild therapeutic heat as part of the healing and regenerative effects of light therapy. You should not experience any discomfort where the recommended treatment times are adhered to.

Is it possible to perform multiple therapy sessions in one day?

Red light therapy can be used several times a day. If the same body part is repeatedly illuminated, we recommend a maximum of 30 minutes per day. This period should be divided into 2 or 3 therapy sessions. For example, begin by treating the face for 10 minutes and then move to the torso for 10 minutes, followed by the legs for 10 minutes.

How far should the device be from the body?

Set up the device on a flat surface and position the treatment area (e.g., arm, torso, or leg) under it, ensuring both are on the flat surface

Light therapy

The machine is easy to understand, you can set it up quickly and easily and don’t need to constantly refer back to the instructions, after the first use you sort of get the hang of things.

Using it is pleasant and quite relaxing, you do need to set some time aside for yourself, set it up, lie down and relax under it.

Real LED Lights

I like that this product has real LED lights and that it works.

I prefer this design over the mask designs because I can use this device on any part of my body. My hip measurement is 36 inches and there's about an inch on either side of my hips when I use this device on that area.

I've been able to use different combinations of red, blue, and green lights but am not able to use yellow, orange, or purple in combination with any other lights. These lights are part of the "cycle" setting that uses all lights. All of the lights can be used concurrently with the near infrared (NIF) light setting.

Regarding the NIF, I've seen reviews that mention a row of lights not working. That's the NIF panel. NIF lights are not visible to the human eye (not even if you take a photo and look at the photo).

This LED light therapy machine is just so easy to use and convenient, and you don’t need to set up or install anything. It’s lightweight, and it doesn’t take a lot of spaces. You can fold it in half for easy storage. You can use it anywhere and anytime you want, and I enjoy using it on my sofa or bed. The LED lights are powerful, and there are 8 lights that I can switch from. You can set up a time for your treatment, and the machine makes no sound when the treatment time is done. The lights will automatically shut off, and you just need to turn off the machine.
